The whole Westville team is thrilled to announce we have been shortlisted as finalists for the 2022 INCA awards.
We have been shortlisted in the “Render” category, which focuses on render-only projects where the insulation had to be placed elsewhere.
The project in question is the work done on Pullman Close in Chesterfield, which we worked on alongside Wetherby Building Systems.
This was a low-rise residential project where Wetherby cedral cladding and silicone render were applied to a number of properties, as part of a £7.1m investment scheme from Chesterfield Borough Council.
These buildings were in dire need of both aesthetic improvements and energy efficiency enhancements too. A plan to replace all the windows was formulated to concur with the rest of the work, which included Cavity Wall Insulation extraction, Cavity Wall Insulation refill, and loft insulation to a thickness of 300mm.
As well as refreshing the look of the whole area, the changes to these flats result in stopping 19.5 tonnes of CO2 from entering our atmosphere every year. The residents will also benefit from reduced energy bills, particularly important during such testing times financially.
We are very proud of the work that we carried out on this project, and we want to thank all of our staff and our partners on the project for their great work.
Fingers crossed for the finals!
