Sheltered housing accommodation

Brief and Glebe Court Chesterfield's history.

Glebe Court is a sheltered housing accommodation based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Having being used for a number of years it had become extremely tired and very much in need of renovation. After a successful project working on Brocklehurst Court, Fortem asked Westville to provide their rendering and cladding expertise on a similar project. Glebe Court is a sheltered housing accommodation based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire to be used as a nursing home for Chesterfield Borough council. To turn the property into a modern and pleasant place as shelters accommodation, the property would need Westville’s extensive render and cladding work.

Challenges overcome on Glebe Court Chesterfield.

When the site was vacant, Westville finished the cladding work towards the end of November 2018. Due to poor weather over winter, work was put on hold until after Christmas. After the weather cleared up and it was safe to work on the site, Westville finished the project with detailed a SPS Envirowall render. Fortem were pleased with Westville’s work throughout the project especially on how their forward planning dealt with cold weather limitations on applying the render in a timely and professional manner. Following the success of both Brocklehurst Court and Glebe Court, Westville have been awarded the Catherine Court project. Again working closely with Fortem.
