Our brief, and Greyfriars Stafford's history.

Westville were appointed by Novus to regenerate a block of flats in Stafford. This work involved installing mineral fibre insulation and providing a beautiful finish of silicone render, paired with iconic clay brick slips that would completely transform the look of the building. Below the flats were a number of shops consisting of florist, butchers and funeral directors all open whilst working on site as well as tenants in the flats. Westville’s previous experience in minimising their work impact to the surrounding area insured that they were handed the contract.

Challenges overcome at Greyfriars Stafford.

Westville’s forward thinking and clever solutions included making allowances for tight access in places by arranging deliveries around this with forward planning for materials. The project started in January 2019. Finishing in May with the only hold up being the winter weather. Westville found Novus a great client to work with, including great communication and a very impressive site team.
